I loved the seamless integration of the background with the platforming; it genuinely felt like navigating through a city. I had a bit of a challenge with the wall jumping mechanic, though that might just be on my end. Regardless, fantastic effort on your part!

I like the background! Although I didn't get very far, here's a short recording at timestamp 1:19:19

The game is done pretty well, I can tell the effort you put, the game have slight issue, the platforms is quite hard to see, but overall pretty good.

I enjoy the sense of humor in the name and dialogue. The game really revels in its own goofiness, which I love. Although for the instructions it was maybe a bit much because it was a little confusing.

Not sure if you made all of the artwork here (I think not, but you didn't say so in your submission info, which isn't too cool if true), but it clashes quite a bit. If you're going to source assets, which is totally understandable, especially for a jam, I suggest trying to find assets that are a bit more cohesive or even all from one source. On the other hand, the main "slim" character looks a bit more "homemade," and while it's admittedly a bit crude, it's also charming and better fits the game's self-aware humor in my opinion. So, if it doesn't take too long, making your own assets might be a good call if you plan to work more on this!

I also think the controls and general feel could use some work, especially the wall jump, which I think is what Starhound may have been having issues with. That said, the foundations are there, and I think the dash to kill as the main combat mechanic could be super cool! Some of the most satisfying moments of the game for me were when I'd get a bunch of enemies in a single dash. Awesome!

Anyway, I hope you work a bit more on this. I think you have the base of something quite cool and goofy!

Considering the music is literally from Undertale, there's definitely uncredited assets 😬
