Comments on the jam
Half way through the jam, am tired so I decided to finish early and at least make the game playable/completable. Regardless though, I learned a lot from this. Wish me luck in the future!

Liked music and sprites a lot, slashing enemies was pretty satisfying and weapons seem balanced, and the different enemies are also nice.

If you leave a room without killing enemies they remain active and don't reset positions, so if you don't kill them all in one room they will hit you just when entering(you can also slash them from the other room but that feels odd).

Regarding the walk speed I think you could keep it if you add some relatively long coyote jump time so it does feel more responsive.

Congratulations on the publication! I really like the very neat AD and the discreet music. The variety of enemies is interesting. I didn't quite understand how to get ammo from pistols though. Sometimes the camera borders are placed in such a way that you don't know where you're going and it's quite annoying. Hard to fight the boss with the sword only hehe. A HP bar would have been nice.

Very good submission! It's on the short side, but what is there is very good! I love the look and feel of the main character: movement is good, jumping also, sword and shooting both. The enemies are decent and have some variety too; my only complaint with them is for some reason they are all the same colors?

I really like how you did gaining health and ammo for the gun back automatically as you take enemies out. The boss was good too with his different attacks; I died the first time and got him the second!

The game is just fun to play; would love to experience more of it!

Overall a quality game. Movement is just WAY too fast. But still a good quality title.

Nice one. Unfortunately I was not able to finish it. Is it beatable? Loved the sounds, loved those FX and overall I really enjoyed it.

Not a bad idea at all, but I felt the sounds were overwhelming at times. I really enjoyed the art, good job!

the controls really need some getting used to, this is personal taste to me the walk speed is too fast, but overall pretty solid

Game is good. Graphics and music and sounds are good, simple but good. Controls are okay, but I don't completely like jumping with up arrow key. Maybe it would be better if you would make jump with X key or traditionally - space? But it's the only thing I don't like about this game, the rest is, as I said, good.
