Of all the Metroidvania Month Jam games I played, this one was the most creative by far. Not necessarily most original or most finished, there was ambitious ideas here that I really appreciated.
I do need to nitpick the sound though...That jumping noise got annoying immediately. i played the game with the sound off.

Yeah, I messed with the sound options and thought to have removed that annoying thing before exporting

I think that the .pck data file required to run the game is missing, at least for the Windows build. You normally zip the exe and the pck together for users to download. Same with Linux build also.
Did you also try the linux version? because for me it worked without the .pck
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
