This is very cool. Especially this overlay. I like the little touch of some guy, either silently grunting, when you loose or sighing with relief, after you beat the boss. Screen ghosting is also a very nice touch.

Very interesting game. I'll probably play it more. But like some other submission, I wonder if this one will also be disqualified, as you used mouse control to click on "press to play". Where I think, that mouse was supposed to be used to click on virtual Nokia 3310 keypad, that you could add, for example as a frame for the game.

Very simple, but good game. Some texts are cut off. And I fear, that your submission will be disqualified, as you used mouse controls in the part where you must catch a hat. It was stated in the rules, that you can use mouse only when simulating Nokia's keypad, that you could add on screen, in form of a frame for a game, for example. So you could press Nokia 3310's virtual keys with mouse

Don't waste time on clicking the link to the page of this "game". It's empty with just a screenshot of some mobile game. User have posted this to other jams too.

Okay. You're right. Sorry for that. But I must say also, that ai is not very interesting. They always go for neck snap, when near you. And when far away, they mostly spam one attack. But still, a nice game. Simple. With ability to do some satisfying combos.

Even though I don't like Among Us for a long time now, it was a short interest anyway, I got a faze for fighting games, especially those with online game mode. And I like this game. Simple. But there is one problem. I may be just a newbie, but blocking is extremely hard. In other fighting games, even those considered hard, blocking, I think, is either stand still or hold "move back" button. Maybe in some cases even both of those mechanics. But here you seem to need to press "move back" button, 100% perfectly, during opponent's attack. Which is just again, VERY hard. Which makes fights with cpu, for example very irritating. Like in arcade mode, the second enemy, black crew mate, is spamming one attack, most of time, and you can't do much against it, other than blocking and waiting for them to stop, but with how hard blocking is, I was just ending up in cpu's combos. Also the pause, after either of player's win, between rounds, is a bit too long to.

I liked this game. It's very short and monsters were easy to dodge, as you can actually see their silhouette. The ending cutscene was interesting, mainly because of lighting on the monster. I guess it's a prerendered one, like it's an animation made in some 3D software, with animation capabilities. Probably Blender. The last monster I dared to call "Stone Cold Fish", as in Stone Cold Steve Austin. Because of it's fins, looking like it's flipping me off.

I didn't have Amstrad, in my childhood. From old computers, I had a DOS PC and Amiga 500. But this game still felt nostalgic.

On mobile, in browser, yes. But upper and lower parts of screen were cut off and on my phone, the game was lagging, but it's probably just a problem of my phone.

I also tried flipping the phone to the side with apk version of game and it's not working.

I like this game. I am playing it, as you intended, in phone and there are two problems. First, the cost of upgrade is completely cut off, you can only see the first number, after the price raises to 100. Second, enemies are a bit too big. I think they need to be shrunk down a bit.

Nice game. Finished it without hints. Puzzles are a bit too easy. But it was a really nice game.

Your game is very nice. But I am playing on Linux and when I launched a game, in terminal I saw script errors:

Script error, "shrine.ipk3:mapinfo" line 135:

Unknown property 'cluster' found in map definition

Script error, "shrine.ipk3:mapinfo" line 135:

Unknown property '3' found in map definition

Script error, "shrine.ipk3:mapinfo" line 136:

Unknown property '{' found in map definition

Script error, "gzdoom.pk3:menudef.txt" line 211:

Unknown texture M_EPISOD

Script error, "gzdoom.pk3:menudef.txt" line 244:

Unknown texture M_SKILL

I mean. I can still play. Everything looks like it works. Although I think some textures are maybe looking wrong. Idk, I just mention it, maybe you'll answer if those errors are indicating something important.

A simple, sweet and good game. I liked the background music. It gave that little adventure atmosphere. I wish the sky, outside of underground places, were sky blue. But I get that this game is in NES style, so background must be in one color. Once again. Very good game.

Nice game. It reminds me of one Flappy Bird game, where you are also a pipe that smashes birds. That one was bloody

I liked this game. Although very short and not the rage level hard. I died a bit on every level, but I was able to pretty quickly pick up on how to finish each of them.

I've finished The Golden Souls Remastered at almost 100%. I've killed all monsters and collected all big coins, but I didn't collect all normal coins as I couldn't find them. I like this mod very much. Maps, soundtrack, HUD, monsters are great. The only bad thing were those tiny crabs. Hunting them down on that Sorbetto Beach was a chore.

But still this mod is great. I had fun and it's time for me to start The Golden Souls 2.

So thank you for this mod. You are a Super Modder.

Good game. No music and sounds, except for short music when you die and win. But it's a very small and short game so it doesn't matter. For quick gameplay 9,5/10.

That's enough. No need to apologize, I just chose wrong words. I wanted to know generally, if there is an option to change from windows to fullscreen. You said there is so thank you very much! :-D

PS. Your game is very good. I like the idea of playing with numpad.

Hello. Is there a way to make game launch in fullscreen and not just maximized window?

I will group it into categories.

Graphics:

They are looking nice. Altought some of them looks like they were taken from Metroid or copied with some changes . Also some of the sprites are just lazy. Like the diversity among enemies is made by just scaling them, which as I said is lazy and looks bad with the rest of sprites, because of that scaled up pixels. Lava's animation (idk if there are other liquids. I didn't finish this game) are also lazy and are looking bad with other sprites as it's just a simple wave animation with deforming pixels.

Enemies:

They're just a copy of enemies from Metroid with custom skins. Like those green orbs, who are clearly Metroids, they even can also be defeated only with rockets.

Music:

There is none. Except for one, when you are picking up an item.

Sounds:

Okay, enough. Generic.

Mechanics and bugs:

I don't like that ammo and energy drops randomly from enemies and not always, like in Metroid. This isn't a good way to add to difficulty of the game. Also it seems random that you can or cannot jump where you should be able to jump.

You can glitch some or most doors in this game, but opening them, entering them, and then immediately coming back. After that you can enter those doors without shooting them. Also if you come with enemies from one screen to another, they will come with you.

Overall rate 3,5/10.

Pros:

+ Graphics: NES - like, simple, charming and nice.

+ Music and SFX sounds are good too. They're matching the game and it's art style.

+ Level design is good.

+ Controls are comfortable.

Cons:

- Hitboxes size are not matching sprites size. They are bigger, which results in enemies hitting me when they shouldn't.

- Health bar is glitching sometimes, not showing the right amount of health. Which happens mainly when I'm dashing into an enemy, but also at some random times.

- Whem I'm jumping or falling from screen to screen, if I am not lucky and a wall is right on the edge of the next screen, I am getting stuck and I can't get out. Only game reset is helping.

- I noticed also, that game is sometimes backing me to the last save point. I didn't die or anything. I am just playing and then game is blacking out and moving to the last save point.

But tbh. None of those cons were that game breaking. Well... maybe except that moving through screens bug, health bar bug and game backing me to the last save point bug. But only a little.

So my overall score is 8,5/10. I like the story, art and sounds and music. As I said, bugs and kinda bad sprites hitboxes are not that game breaking, but they are still there and are a little irritating.

Idk if it's something on my side, but game is not loading. It's getting stuck on a progress you can see on a screen shot I posted.

(Yes. This is the same comment as the one on Jam's page)

Game is good. Graphics and music and sounds are good, simple but good. Controls are okay, but I don't completely like jumping with up arrow key. Maybe it would be better if you would make jump with X key or traditionally - space? But it's the only thing I don't like about this game, the rest is, as I said, good.

Game is very good. Graphics are simple but still looking good. Sound design is also simple but good and are adding even more to dark atmosphere of this game. Controls are comfortable and responsive.

And bugs are fixed! Also I like that flies are dying when they touch you. It's nerfing them a bit but still leaves that challenge when fighting them. And I also like that scraps are now flying towards player when they get close enough. Thanks to that, I don't need to sometimes chase them far back down.

So now all I can say is, that I am waiting for full game.

Game looks interesting, but HTML5 version is not working on my device. It's a pity, that there's no Windows version.

Game is nice, but I can't finish the first level. I am keeping moving through red platform, instead of moving up the red platform.

I really like your app. I have a question. Would it be possible to add/change few things? And I mean:

- add a possibility to change the move selection shortcut from shift to something else, or change the whole selection tool to be like in other graphic apps (which means dots in the corners and/or on the sides of selection box to change the size, rotation and to move a selection without holding shift)

- add a possibility to move what I drawn on layer without selecting it with selection tool.

If it's not possible or you just don't want to do it, then it would be completely okay. After all, it's a completely free app.

Nice game. I am not sure if I should be able to finish the first level (because I couldn't), but it's an interesting game.

I like point & click games and this game is nice and short. I am even trying to speedrun it, but there is one thing, that is irritating me. When I am not getting a good time I want to start over, but when I am trying to close the game and launching it again, the game continues from the part I stopped playing at. I also tried to see if there are any key that can reset a game, but there are none.
