Great atmosphere! It reminded me a bit of The Sea Will Claim Everything. Even if it's totally different, there's a similar mood, something uncanny, yet familiar and friendly.

I didn't find this horrific at all, once I managed to communicate with the first shadow. But who were they... I don't think they were former inhabitants of the ship.

I liked the star faced shadow best. Drop shadow had the best name :)

i love it, what i don't love is reading, but i would read through this again :)

This was great! At some point I thought the main character was also becoming a Shadow, as you look into mirrors and don’t see your own reflections. Great little piece of scifi, anyway :3
