solid entry
the wasd controls dont seem to do anything and it would be nice to have a warning of some kind befr the mobs appear.

Really interesting concept, but I wish there was more to it, maybe an upgrade system could make it more interesting to play or some kind of addition to the train like adding turrets. Talking about the train, that 3d model is amazing, I love the design. Same goes for the mech as well!
Only major issues I had was the sound. Music doesn't loop and the sound changes depending on the rotation of your character which is pretty irritating to deal with.
But fun concept overall!
Interesting concept.
The game looks pretty great, awesome mech.
I played the web browser version.
- The cursor moves /rotates the player when there are not enemy spawn which make it feel kinda weird and we dont know if there will be enemies coming alongside.
- The WASD dont seem to be working, or they should be working when in combat not certain.
- The enemy health doe not reach 0.
- The train stops too abruptly it should slow down or have enemies slow it down, which can add some urgency as if the train stops more enemies can spawn to attack.
Cool railgun shooter. The Mech looks great and so are the turrets and tanks. Glad there are repair spots. Enemies do a ton of damage to the player, maybe a little too much. Enemy health bars don't fully go down, might want to see if the numbers go to zero or not.
Not sure why your file size is so large, you don't have crazy textures. Did you build one huge map or did you move terrain/object after they are offscreen? I have a couple of high texture materials that I had to lower the file size for to make the WebGL version small enough. I did lower them a bit much and would like to bring them back up a little but was running low on time.
Might want to create a different incentive for the player to go away from the train, like to rescue some survivors in the distance. Or to chance picking up extra resources. To give variation to the stop/fight locations.
Thanks for the feedback! The outpost model is the culprit for the size in the uploaded windows version. The train actually stands still, the map is a series of tiles that run by the train and go back to starting position after they leave the screen. Good ideas for additional objectives, I will consider them if I revisit the project!
Pretty fun game! I liked the atmosphere, it's like mech Mad Max, it took a bit to get a hang of penetrating multiple enemies, but that was really satisfying. I liked the breaks, it felt a little randomly generated at times since I got two outposts in a row, but that was totally fine by me! lol I didn't get to the end screen (hit 100% and played more outposts/one more enemy round) but it was a pretty fun concept!
Very neat idea for a game, couldn't manage to move though like it says with WASD?
Was fun to take out couple enemies with 1 shot. The feedback made railgun feel powerful. Visuals overall are very good. I reached 100%, is there anything that’s supposed to happen after that?
