Very nice game!Good job

you’ve run into the problem that has plagued programming language design committees for ages — most keyboards don’t have the particular key you ask people to press to open the console!

after switching to a different keyboard and managing to get that open, it didn’t take long to push to level 5. but upon reaching level 5, i saw a couple gears, an [i] box, and … a crash. the screen went black, and my web browser’s console was spammed with “Uncaught TypeError: frontTile is undefined”

Oh yeah, I realized that that specific keys would probably come back to bother me later lol, I'm actually unsure on how to make it more compatible though, sorry. In terms of the game-breaking bug, got it fixed lol. Thanks so much for playing!

I guess that's the best game that 100% match "player must cheat" limitation. It's very original. Great job!

I found it a tad tedious. The words were very small on my screen making me have to lean in, which wouldn't have been a problem if I had any other way to move, a single break for my eyes. In all fairness you should know I'm not very good at using a keyboard, so I'm sure those who are would enjoy this. I also thought the camera was too zoomed in, but perhaps it was just the way my browser loaded it. The game is well made otherwise, and I liked discovering new commands to use. It also looked good. It's also nice that it's not just another 2D platformer (even though I like them, they're pretty common). Great job.

Yeah, I realize it is a bit tedious, thus why I created the ability to define custom "functions" for common commands or actions that the player can use instead of pre-made ones with all the words typed out, which I suppose isn't the best solution. I did try to incorporate other movement mechanics in the beginning, but I think I just gave up on it and went straight into the main mechanics as I had missed a couple of days at that point, so yeah, sorry it didn't get to be as inclusive for everyone. As for the camera, you can zoom in and out btw! That is indeed a command, and which I felt would be an easy "cheat" around the intentionally zoomed-in camera which was for limiting visibility :D (I guess it worked?). But thanks for playing, and for the feedback, will definitely develop this further after the Jam.

Console mechanic had a very high level of complexity which was enjoyable. However, I couldn't manage to pick up fuel without my console exploding.

Oh my, you're right! Thank you so much for pointing that out, found the bug and squished it (along with others after you prompted me to playtest a bit more.  :)
