Great game and I loved the ending with the split screen. One of my favourites in this game jam :)

The game looks great. Had a hard time trying to avoid the dark spirit and it made the exploring process a bit frustrating. However really interesting use of the theme!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yeah we didn't really get a chance to thoroughly test that side of the game, and it ended up taking away from the exploration aspect. We'll be focusing much more on the exploration side if we expand on the game further in the future :)

Not much a fan of the dogde gameplay on the right, but definitely worth for the second part when we get the dynamic split screen and reunite both characters.

The exploration on the left side was a little hard because of the camera angle. I realized later that I didn't need to explore, as everything was on the roads, but such a scenery was asking for it.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! The camera angle was definitely something we want to work on more after the week ended as there were so many issues with it and the split screen we had to make compromises! But it's definitely something to look into. And I totally get what you mean by the dodge gameplay, we really want to explore further on the second half of the game and see what we can do with that.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

I loove the aesthetic in this game, and it was pretty fun and cool concept. The game was really fun, however the dark ghosts were sometimes just too fast for me to be able to dodge them, other than that Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! We'll definitely look into tweaking things in the future.

Short, sweet and very touching :) Definitely one of the more memorable games i've played so far!

Thank you so much!

This game is great XD
Collecting the mails while dodging the dark spirits is fun XD
There is a way to cheese the dodging part though. If the player stay in the bottom left corner, the player will be safe most of the time. Dark spirits are rarely going into that part somehow
I also liked the effect you used in the game. XD

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I had another friend play it and he managed to find a spot where they don't spawn at all/ don't move towards so he was safe the entire time. We'll have to look into this I guess hahaha. Thank you for playing!

Got grabbed by the art style, I'm impressed. It took me a while to figure out there were two controllable characters, and had many difficulties playing as the ghost, it was too fast to play by myself, I guess having someone else with you would make the experience better. That being said I still love the idea and how you implemented the second half of the game. I would play a longer game about finding each other on the same screen like that.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! It seems that many people are having difficulties with the ghost side so adjustments will be considered in the future, thanks for the feedback!

This game looked awesome! However, the framerate tanks about halfway through, and I could barely move so I wasn't able to finish the game. Its also hard to know where the monsters are coming from,  unless that was intended.  Otherwise, beautiful looks and great idea.

Developer

Thank you so much! Yes, we've only just discovered the framerate issues only after publishing and submitting to the Game Jam since  we didn't have time to properly playtest it and every test we did ourselves was just done quickly. We were told a way on how to fix it though so hopefully we can reupload a second build that runs better in the near future! Thank you so much for playing!
