How does your game fit the Magical Girl Genre?
The main character is a typical magical girl, and there is another girl with magical powers in the game.

Which theme(s) do you pick?
Schrödinger's Cat/Superposition

How does your game fit the theme(s)?
A person’s magic in this setting is able to be anything until the first time that a person thinks about what their magic can do. This is similar to the idea of Schrödinger's Cat in that all states are there until the “cat” is observed.

I kinda went into this one with very few expectations, but I think it's one of my favourites in the jam!

The writing started off kind of shaky, to be honest, but it got a lot better as the story went along. It has some great lines and manages to cram interesting lore into a short game. I kinda wished Fable came back for the ending- I really liked Fable. I think the only issue is that it sometimes felt a bit weird in terms of tone- going from a silly joke to some dark and serious subject matter and then back in the space of a few lines.

I got what I think is the good ending. I'm not sure if it has a bad ending? The number of choices seems reasonable for a game of this length. Interactive battles would be nice but probably excessive in terms of scope.

I think the art could be improved with backgrounds, more animations, etc, but even where it is right now it works. I didn't really feel the lack of backgrounds, and the character graphics are very nice.

The music is more of a mixed bag. Some tracks are better than others, while others just feel like odd choices given the context.

All in all it's short, but not too short, and though unfinished it's still sweet.

Thanks. This is my very first visual novel, and it's really inspiring to get such encouraging comments. I'll definitely take your suggestions into consideration

Wow, this visual novel is really good! I enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. There's even a capybara in it.

The only issue I encountered was "Image 'bg park' not found" on the line "Yeah, I think my dads are going deaf."

This is an inspiring piece of work. Way to go!

Whoops! I just fixed that issue in the 0.9 release. Thanks for the kind words, they're really inspiring.

This was a really cute visual novel! The character artwork was all excellent, and I enjoyed the story. It'll be cool to see what it's like once you get the the additional artwork in. (such as backgrounds)

Nice work!

PS:  I did get an error unzipping the PC version... 2 PNG files weren't able to export. I tried re-downloading, same result. It didn't break the game or anything.

Thanks! I'll look into the pc version and do some testing.

It is a shame, that you didn't have enough time to make backgrounds, because I liked your style.

Story-wise, this game is pretty straight-forward but I still enjoyed it. Probably it is mainly because of the silliness of the premise (in a good way). Maybe, it would better if the game was a bit longer, but yet again, time is also a thing.

So, it was a funny short experience. Nice job!

Thank you for your kind words. I'll make sure to show your comment to the artist. We will be adding in backgrounds and more sprites in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for the full experience.
