How does your game fit the theme?
It involves you taking breaths to learn techniques and to regain your energy you have to stand still and concentrate on breathing.

tag me when you finish your next game :') hope you don't give up on game making <3

Developer(+1)

Will try, though I have no idea how to tag someone, I'll look it up, I am currently working on a rebuild of one of my newer systems together with one of my older games, so once done and uploaded I will inform you.

that's fair I actually don't know how to either lollll but I'll give ya a follow!!<3

Even though it's unfinished, I'm glad you got it submitted. I like the colors and pixel art. Good job

Developer(+1)

Thank you, the color's and art belong to Ansimuz and I am just using them

So the game's art is quite nice but the way it is - It feels like an artist had to code stuff around 😅 which eventually will only get better & better with time.

The 'arrow pointer' in the breath menu bar is quite hard to find & can be easily missed. I found it after failing 1-2 times at the bar breathing but its alright.

The speed of the character really takes away from the experience :( I feel it could be faster & the breathing mechanic could also be sped up :(

Congratulations on the game though. Could be great with this art style :)

Good day, it is the other way around l, it's a coder that had to find art for his code. I forgot to add the credits screen as it wasn't built into the program at time of submission, will update it after the voting period ends as I don't want to make changes during the voting period.

Thank you for your feedback on the arrow pointer I will look into making the arrow stand out more.

As for the speed of the character, some of the techniques that are planned will be capable of increasing movement speed. As for the breath bar progress it is coded to work on a 4 second max system, but I do believe that I made a reference mistake and it is a bit more random in the end. I have looked at changing it to a 1 second fill system.

Ah, I see 😅 It's good to know that you are aware of some changes the game needs & will be updating it in the future!

Developer(+1)

Still thank you, I greatly appreciate that you gave me feedback

That's what the game dev community is about :) helping each other out man!😄

Not intuitive enough for someone who doesn't play a lot of games, sorry. I tried to follow the instructions and failed! I got the little person to move and jump - but couldn't open menu etc to properly understand how to reach the goal.

Developer

Good day, currently there is no true goal in the system, you can open the menu to see it, but the interactivity of the menu wasn't built. The only time the menu will have functional interactivity is when you reach the icon for the technique further to the right of the map and then interact with the item.

A bit confusing at first, but congrats for the submission.

Developer

Thank you, I was not able to complete what I wanted to during the jam period, however, I am happy to have learnt about new mechanics that I haven't touched before. I was also glad that I was able to finish the core mechanic for the game so expanding upon it will be far easier in the future.
