Our interpretation of the theme is an encounter with horror and the ability to resist it. We try to convey this through mini game, exploration, narrative, and the thoughts of the character.

Great atmosphere, captures well the Lovecraftian spirit. I tried exploring each location, but didn't find my way to the final end. I can see there was a lot of ambition in this project, and it is quite a success to get it this far during a jam! Good job!

In fact, you only need 2 locations. A library where you find information about the ritual and what it needs, and a mists area where you find the dagger. After receiving the dagger, you can sail to the temple, which is located behind the lighthouse. The temple is the final location and is revealed to you if you have a dagger.
Im sorry, I get stuck in the cards part, I don´t know why, my pc is not that bad, I think the art and music are great but I couldn't understand it, maybe needs simplify it a bit, cool job!

Can you tell what exactly is the problem? Does the game freeze during combat or is there some kind of error? Where did the combat take place, in the "Fishermen's quarter" in the "library" or on one of the sea tiles? I'm trying to understand what happened.
In the fishermen 's quarter, I get 3 cards, I click on them and nothing happend except my health points going down, also when I cllick in the text option to explore nothing happend, is there some gameplay to see maybe Im dumb and don't press the needed input, the game doesn"t freeze, i can move the cards but can't go anywhere from there, sorry my english

Great job on the atmosphere and world building. Visuals and music were excellent and it made me curious about learning more about the lore. A very unique game concept which I like. The combat system with the cards confused me, I think I failed since I respawned at the beginning. I also think it would also be nice with a clearer indication of when I need to sleep - maybe the sleep button could pop out more? Either way, great work. Would love to see you keep working on this game.

Yes you are right. Many points are not obvious, especially the need for sleep. The game does not have a full tutorial, so players may have difficulty understanding how to play and what to do.
Could you tell us more about the combat system? What exactly is wrong with it? We tried to make cards that can provide additional opportunities depending on how developed this or that skill is. I'm afraid it's not clear. For example, if you get a "book of protective charm" and you have a height parameter of strength, will appear the option to hit the opponent with the book.
I've only fought the sea monster and now that I tried again, I managed to succeed. I think the confusion comes from not completely understanding what to expect from the enemy in terms of its attacks so I don't really know how to strategize. I end up choosing the punch card + a random defense card and hope for the best. Seems like I might not have experienced the full extent of the combat system however. The design of the cards look cool though, great art!
I see. Under the opponent's health, his planned type of attack is written in the next turn. It's our fault that we didn't polish the fight and make it clearer. Thanks again for your feedback.
Albeit loosely fitting the theme this was an excellent game, the gameplay was nice especially the exploration and stat system, the visuals are quite pleasing, the sound design beautiful and the UI was gorgeous, overall this was a wonderful game, I think this was the most polished I have seen so far!

It starts with a minigame that seems to fit the theme somewhat, but then changes to something else, an exploration/narrative/stats based game that doesn't seem to have much in common with the theme.
I missed some locations at the start because I didn't know to click on them again after I landed.
The UI otherwise and music is really good.
