Themes
I used Attachments after Attachments by having a large number of attachments for the weapon which is trash because of the unconventional weapons theme.

Tools
Godot and Aseprite. Godot was great most of the issues were due to user error and Aseprite was great to use

Lessons
how to make code in gdscript that isn't disgusting

I might need some help understanding how to play. When the game starts I see a city skyline, and pressing x plays an attack sound effect – but that’s all I see, and that’s the only button that does anything. What do I need to press after the opening narration?

Thats really odd it was working earlier if you press space it will skip ahead

Nice dungeon crawler with a good amount of content packed in. I liked that you could customize your playstyle with characters and equipment pickups. I didn't like how easy it was to lose track of areas that you explored previously. I suggest adding distinct landmarks in areas, so the world navigation is easier.

This was a large idea for a jam game, but I enjoyed the options. I really enjoy the SFX and music, but the use of space was great.

Pretty nice! I agree with evilentity, there needed to be more “oompf” when you hit an enemy to make it more satisfying.

Bold choice to implement 4 characters! Attacks could a bit more feedback on the enemies, not just a lil push. Inventory stuff was super confusing!
