very cute snake :)

very cool idea, i enjoyed the first two levels :) <3

(1 edit)

INCREDIBLY fun game. really cute graphics and particle effects, phenomenal puzzles, and nice music choice. level 9 was the hardest, and once i realized the solution that one, i had a better system. the solutions were really satisfying!! would absolutely love to see the concept expanded. first perfect score from me <3

glorious

fire! love the idea :)

good idea - perhaps i will add a pause mode where you can look at the puzzle without your character spawning/falling. thank you!

very impressive to take a screenshot 0.3 seconds before you run out of time!!! i'm so glad you enjoyed it and played it through until the end. thanks so much for your review my friend :)

(also i'm thrilled that you liked level 7. i was worried it was too hard and tried to make it easier, but eventually decided that it was okay in its current form :)

Very fun! Loved the aesthetic! I wasn't sure how to exit level two though, it seemed to stick me in the door. Enjoyed dodging the cameras. spooky

i LOVE this game. so cute. for a first game jam game it is amazing!!! (also i love godot engine very much and i am so happy you made a game with it <3)

I am so happy to hear it!!! Oh my goodness I am absolutely thrilled that you liked it. (Spoilers ahead): in level 7 you have to build over to the "funnel" and fill it up from above (race  to the left side, and climb up and over to fill it). Extremely tight timings though, probably the hardest level. Level 9 you just have to peek at the top right ;)

Thank you so much for your review. Warms my heart.

i really liked this game! it was a circle. i played on a trackpad, and i'm not sure if that helped or messed me up . . a pleasure! very cute aesthetic.

very zesty. i liked the concept!! a tower defense game where you also have to build "towers" in your limited space to get resources! i liked it as a factorio and bloons fan :)

very cute guy! i loved how he got the coin. sometimes the blue bot wouldn't follow what i did. very cute

Very cute art! :)

fire.

number one game of the jam

number one game of the jam

i LOVE the concept. the eternal grind of capitalism represented in a loop game entry. brilliant

very circular. i quite like the yellow one. he's fast and messed me up a few times . but i got revenge

very zesty. had a crazy amount of fun. most stars

Fascinating! Wasn't able to play it, but it's an awesome submission. Good work :)

this is a contender for my favorite game of the jam. i love very simple ideas executed well, and this one was great for that. it was really freakin hard to tell how far away the ground was, and perhaps that adds to the '90s aesthetic. LOL

very sweet game, i found the movement to be quite frustrating much of the time. other than that, cute story collector game :)

this game was awesome. played it for the longest of any of the entries. :) nice horror aesthetic! the combat was perhaps a bit simple, and it seemed to me like there wasn't a lot of skill to it - either you walked around them, or there were too many and you died. i also wasn't sure about how the length or depth of sleep or anything would affect my nights, but i did enjoy gorging myself on coffee in the daytime. good game :)

as you say, this game is currently a little bit of a mess - i totally understand that feeling. but i LOVED the intro sequence, main menu, and the maps were really cool! i don't know if you plan to continue this project, but some (perhaps significant. lol <3) camera system adjustments, and then combat tweaks would make this a really sick game. good work! :)

very cute surrealist game. no clue what was going on but that was not necessary to have fun here. i tried so hard to get to the top of the tower with the grappel hook, but either you guys made it too tall on purpose, or i need to practice more . .

i am so happy you enjoyed it so much <3

Thanks :) nice time! anything less than 10 minutes is quite good for a first run, i would guess!

yes . . . i am not sure  why the browser version worked so poorly. it was probably Godot's fault, but i am unfortunately at a loss for why. Thanks for playing :)

thank you so much!!! i was SO happy with how the water physics turned out . . i spend the first few days ONLY working on that, because i knew it had to feel good.

very cute. i enjoyed solving the puzzles a lot :) some of them were really tough to get, mechanically. got stuck on level 10 for a bit!

Awesome. Adorable. cutest couple i know. <3

very charming aesthetic!

very fun

AMAZING! game, love the style . literally only missing background music and a points counter. would love to see work on it continued :)

just so everyone knows lol, the name is a pun; just a "bit" further. get it. because. because. get it because it's 8-bit style. lol

hey, i mean it's not too hard if you focus, the challenge is going fast. nice job on 950 score though, that's around the highest score i got during development :) glad you enjoyed!!

fantastic piece of work. very good for a second game ever homie :)

metalest thing i've seen in a while. loved the art :)

metal as hell
