Did you work in a team?
Just me :)

Was the resolution a challenge?
Because I only had a couple hours to work on this, I picked a very easy game to recreate at low resolution. I wish I had the time to REALLY push what I could do with this resolution :/

What did you learn?
I never used camera shake before, so that was cool :)
Also, I have never completed a "full" game in a single afternoon- which feels great, even if it is simplistic.

Challenging brick breaker! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I'm honored! :)

Obviously not a 64x64 game… Visually it is quite basic, considering it is by far over 64x64 I’d suggest you move to a higher resolution and work a bit on the playability (speed, object sizing…)

Thanks for the feedback!

As I list in the description, it IS in 64x64 resolution, but scaled up by stretching, which is allowed by the rules :)

Plus, because I'm in a summer semester of Uni, I gave myself only one afternoon to work on this. So everything here was accomplished in under 5 hours, by myself, in one sitting. That's why it's very basic :/

Well, I guess the pre-stretcht might be 64x64 but definitely things like the ball trail is subpixel-rendered (if we consider you should align to a discrete 64x64 grid). Great result for only 5 hours effort!

Thank you! :)
