This isn't an annual game jam, so I think the name fits quite well. The jam is a one time thing that focuses on the use of loops. I honestly can't think of a better name, than "Looped Game Jam" to describe the jam.

But then again, if you don't like the theme, just don't participate. I don't see anyone forcing you to take part in this.

Oh I thought that they just changed the name of the jam once the theme was revealed! I only discovered it after it had started.

If anything though, that's the perfect disguise for the theme. No one would have guessed!
