Sorry, I really want to try this game, but I can’t. I tried various ways to install chickadee, but I failed in every way. That library wants a develop version of Guile even though I build Guile from the source. I also tried Guix, at first it seems to install chickadee successfully but there is no chickadee executable after installation. Then I tried the Guix System’s QEMU image but it’s too slow to use. I guess I have to give up. The Guile tooling is too obscure for me.

I like the idea! I took an easy yet boring way to win - generating amino acids only on one row.
I think that it is almost impossible to win from the first run -- you lose ATP while you're reading instruction, so it would be great to have directions before the game starts.
Thank for the game!
Thank you for playing! Great that you could find a winning strategy. It goes to show just how complex nature is. As to loosing ATP from the start: luck of the draw: sometimes the initial DNA does not have any open-reading frames. I was actually expecting players to need several tries to understand the dynamics. Having a startup screen with instructions is a great idea though.
This is a great idea! I like this type of simulations because we can understand the model while we are playing! Good job. By the way in MacOS I followed the instructions and had to change "Metabolize!" by "Metabolize\!".
