Really love the aesthetics and the reflection effect!

I love the sunset effect and the retro feeling. Kinda reminded me about the old pirated "9999 in 1" NES cartridge menu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w65XjxRW-OA

Gamplay wise I love the reflection. Having to fight against my instincts that want me to grab birds in the reflected area while it only consume time.

Super pretty looking, and although as you said you meant it more as a demo, it's still fun to play around with and you definitely want to keep getting a higher score.

Great look. I love what you've done with the Sun. Obviously the waves look great. Wonder if it's possible to remap the black on the reflection to get more of an "ocean" look...

Stylistically it's really cool, and as a programmer it's fun to see interesting effects created with super simple methods. Good job :)
