When the character arrives in town, people feel a rejection towards him because he is different. (When I say different, I mean that he has the shape of a demon although he is not bad)

Fun game but a few visual glitches and the zoom when attack was hard to focus my guy. I really like the pixel style and music was fun. It was hard to see where you pick up the sword and shield from, maybe a glow around where you hit e to pick up. the gps icon was super cute, it only worked for the first time, but it made me feel I needed to go into a building. Keep it up I can’t wait to swing a sword again.

Great little game with some cinematic to keep the player's interest, it was a great idea !
I'm joining Quinadin on the camera zoom effect when attacking enemies, it's a bit tiresome for the eyes but I managed to get used to it.
I also really liked the musics, even if it wasn't yours, you managed to choose some well-fitting musics

Cool game. I'm happy to see some more narrative focused games at this jam.
Two things I picked up on whilst playing.
First of all I found the camera zoom that happened on each sword attack very jarring to the point it almost hurt my eyes to look at the screen for long during the combat segments.
Secondly I feel this game could benefit from some diversity in terms of enemies outside of just increasing their health. I didn't really feel like I was progressing through levels so much as I was repeating the same encounter three times.
But yeah cute art style and nice story. I rate the music also

Thanks for your comment, I also felt that at the time of the fight it was very repetitive since it lacks relief (that the map is not totally flat), and more diversity of enemies.
Thank you for telling me about the zoom, I had not realized that the movement was very abrupt when the character fought.

Nice work! I liked how the gameplay changed between the shopping and slaying segments as you progressed and had the townspeople give the player more respect as he dispatched more enemies.
