Good game, It was a bit confusing at first but after a while I got the hang of it
Good use of animation and sound. I think there may be an issue with your tilemap, it seems lines appear alot, but seemingly only over the sand and sand adjacent tiles. Also, the w and a key don't seem to do anything but the d and s key do, a bit strange. Really good job and good concept!
For the tilemap i don't know why it does that but for the keys its because i have a french keyboard (azerty instead of qwerty) so its z and q lmao (thats why i told people to move using the arrow keys)

Good job on your first game jam! I experienced one issue where the objects would oftentimes spawn immediately in my path so I couldn't avoid them. That was fine if it were wine, but with the wisps it would sometimes just kill me suddenly haha. Possible expansion would be to let the pirate set sail once he gets enough treasure, and then you could have a different sort of environment in other levels?

My highscore is 10. I felt like there should be more wine it didn't seem that fair. So many times when I was looking for wine wisps spawned in front of me and I walked on accident to them and lost. But still a fun game so great work.
Fun game! I was a bit confused, thought I was looking for actual chests so was avoiding all the wisps to start haha. Can use expansion but original idea that worked!
