Theme Challenge!
conserve: Conservation of resources was an idea, it's sort of implemented in the food-distribution system.
open ended: Speaks for itself really, it's a sandbox simulation game.

This takes some time to figure out what you need to start doing before you end up in a few roadblocks like I did. Autorunning is not good from the start, and building each type of building is a good idea so you don't run out of resources and softlock yourself. Certainly does involve a bit of trial and error.

Quite fun, despite being unfinished. I like the text only approach.

There is no way to get wood! People want wood! and people want it now! I have minus six children to feed! ^^

Logging camps generate wood. Negative children was a side effect of fixing a bug where children had children when there was no adults. It's actually a lot harder to simulate this stuff than I expected! :P

Made me laugh more than expected too ;)
