Hello,

The game is.......GOOD.!

At first, I saw the 5 screenshots of the game on this webpage. I thought: oh....the graphics are not too nice. However, when I played the game, I realized that the graphics of the game were quite nice! Sure! The reason is that all the trees on the whole screen were shaking irregularly. Shaking irregularly generated a good visual effect.

On the other hand, the gameplay is really nice.  Group attack  by several unicorns makes the game so enjoyable and exciting.

If you continue to improve the game, I believe that the game will be a superior game at last.

Well, I didn't hope to win this jam by that margin. Especially, I didn't feel very creative and, well, to be honest, I first intended to include some fruits as powerups that you have to bring to your corny friends (or vice versa), but ran out of time for that, so I simply claimed the theme were "open" :D .

Thanks even more for your detailed feedback. I will try to improve the game when I find the time (I think around Easter is a good time).

But obviously, none of you managed to complete the game, since the "lowscore list" still remains unchanged. Perhaps I should show it up front as a motivation to not give up?

Hello...sorry for my late reply.

Well, I didn't hope to win this jam by that margin. <--- Congratulations. Good job.

Especially, I didn't feel very creative <--- You are humble.

and, well, to be honest, I first intended to include some fruits as powerups that you have to bring to your corny friends (or vice versa), but ran out of time for that, so I simply claimed the theme were "open" :D . <----  Very, very interesting....yeah!!!!!

Thanks even more for your detailed feedback. <--- No problem.

I will try to improve the game when I find the time (I think around Easter is a good time). <--- Diligent developer.

The graphics are really good here! Like wow, you even got SHADOWS to move with the plants, so good job there!

Some sound effects would be nice.

The unicorn movement was very odd. It seems like the unicorn can only move by tacking left and right. I'm not sure why a more conventional up/down/left/right/diagonal control scheme wasn't used.

The game itself is very creative and had an "open-world" feel to it since it could scroll in different directions. While playing, I was pleasantly reminded of this funny toy called "The Avenging Narwhal".

Game tips were a nice touch!

The screen felt a little  small. A larger default screen size or full-screen option would have helped.

Overall I'd give this 4/5.

I'm glad the game pleased you!
You can press Alt+Enter to switch to fullscreen mode. Forgot to mention that in-game :( .
(But that does not make the visible area grow.)

Nice - love the graphics. It's beautiful. Though I do miss sound. You can find royalty free music online quite easily, and most BASIC dialects allow some basic beep or speaker sounds.

Thanks for the praise! Yeah, music and, most important, an annoying chainsaw sound, are something I will add at some point in the future. But I didn't get around during the jam time.

Thanks for the praise! I am pleased that you are having fun!
Note that you get additional tips (about six in total) in the intro whenever you win or lose without quitting.
