Absolutely fantastic. Perfect interpretation of the restriction, suitable amount of juice. Given the time constraints, I can see how it ended up where it did, but I think if you were to take this further, having the actual strings move with the button presses might add an extra juice 'element'.

Sometimes the timing was a bit 'off' but I think that's just a byproduct of trying to make an entire rhythm game from scratch with a suitable note chart in three days. Beautiful experience, wonderfully executed, well done.

Thank you Daymio, means a lot! I thought about making the strings move, you’re so right, that sounded like the juiciest thing i could do with this game, but… i haven't the slightest idea how to handle ropes in Unity, so decided to step right away from that path. xD

I hate that the notes are so out of sync in some places, but honestly, after spending 6h hand picking and adjusting timings, I just gave up on it eventually. Sometimes, you just have to call it done! *shrug*

Thanks so much again for playing and rating!

Very chill. No violence whatsoever. The art is too great for those square particles, they deserve more love.

Thanks so much!

I totally agree with you regarding the particles. I left them for the very end of the jam and I just didn’t have enough love in me to give anymore… oh well, game jams innit! Thanks again for your kind words =)

A Great submission, you really nailed the restriction. But as someone who has a really bad vision, not your fault . I think its a little hard to focus on specific notes when they're so far from each other.
The game feel is really good aka game juice, even tho its not the standard that this jam asked for
I think that would've killed the mood. Still very satisfying in my opinion
Recommended to play with a cup of tea

Well done! Also the graphics and page design is really nice
so bonus points for that

Thanks for the nice words, really appreciate it! I tried to make the juice "subtle" by adding small details here and there. Ah sorry about the tiny notes far apart from each other. I was trying to replicate the feeling of playing the instrument where sometimes you have to just "know" what your right hand is doing without seeing it, but maybe I pushed it a bit too far for what ultimately is just a game. Thanks a lot for your feedback, glad you enjoyed it!
