  • Hey there! This was a really short entry that I could see having a bit more to it with some added dev time. I liked the concept of needing to escape the leakage, and the controls and mechanics were straightforward and easy to understand. The presentation values were heading in the right direction, but some of the execution on performance, animation and camera were a little bit rough. The sound was also very loud, and a bit jarring. Overall, I would have liked to see some expansion of the game, starting with a simpler level and ending with a longer one, as I think this would have created a bit more structure to the experience, rather than being just a "one shot" kind of deal. Thanks for the game, and best of luck with future dev!

Nice little game you've created, well done! The menu, logo, UI and sprite art is absolutely brilliant, really strong, great use of colour palette, full of character and really well polished. The game was a little bit slow and the fire didn't seem much of a threat to me, as I could move the sprite very fast. In fact, it was almost too fast in such a small space as it made making tight turns and orientating the sprite a little difficult. Had the fire been more of a fearsome foe, that would have been troubling. Nevertheless, really good game, well done!

Well Done! :D

The game has a nice art style and I think that the concept is unique. I like that you also included sound effect.

One improvement could be to keep the music when you play the game and not only have it in the menu sceen. Also I found mzself getting stuck sometimes when trying to exit a room because of the collider, so maybe this could be made a bit smaller. But overall nice game.

Nice idea! At first, I was a bit confused what to do, I ended up walking to the object in the top left and died haha. Though after a bit, I got the hang of it. I will say, when entering and exiting rooms, I would get caught on the corner/edge a few times and have to try and re-enter. Other than that, it was a good job!

I thought this game was cool! I wasn't sure what to do at first so I died. On the second attempt I was trying to get away from the gas and got caught on the edge of the first room but didn't die and then I broke out and the gas stopped chasing me. (I broke the game) from then on it was very easy when the gas didn't chase you. Then I played again and it chased me and when I got to the end it didn't let me escape, maybe I did pick something up? It was fun though, Great Job!

hi Roguetaver!

indeed it's a short game, and it's funny that we were afraid it could become "too big" for the "one room" theme :D but thank you for trying and for the feedback!

best regards!

Well rounded little game, and decently made in a 48 hour jam. I like the art!
