Description
I imagined this image to be related to things related to spring, such as new life and new beginnings, so I decided to try something new for both of these tracks: 41-edo, and a much more aggressive percussive section.
Lessons Learned
Drums are cool :)
41-edo is fun to play with.
Where did you source your cover art?
Self-created in Krita

Oh man bass in both tracks tickles my brain in all the right places. I absolutely love the sound of it, however composition wise it gets a bit stale at some places imo. Other than that is super nice, one of the best subs in this jam forsure.
Thank you!
Very unique! Wow! Love the 8 bit vibe, and what! A slow down? Very experimental! Very cool!
I love doing unconventional things!
One of the most unique submissions I’ve heard in this jam — it’s really nice.
Thanks!
These sounds are awesome. Did you design them or were they presets?
I think one thing that would've taken this to the next level is if you maybe switched up the lead instrument a bit more. The melody stayed on the same instrument almost the whole time, so it was easy to tune out at times.
Nonetheless, still good stuff!
It's mostly presets, but some are my own.
8-bit? SNES? Soundfont? This is a very interesting blend of instruments that span a few decades. Very experimental and bizarre, and held together by some really nice melodies. The rubato is neat. The second song must feature the 41-edo tuning? These are some very interesting harmonies. Your restrained stereo imaging is actually very refreshing. The stereo instruments really stand out.
Both are in 41-edo, and everything was in the synth Surge XT.
Thanks for listening!
Very cool percussions programming and nice rythmic changes in general but the chords and melody choice was a little weird for my taste, pretty experimental but pretty unique take on the theme!
Thank you!
