Remarkable: The combination of lights was pretty disorienting, which I think was part of the point?

Needs Improvement: This is just a personal nit, I think, but I'm just not interested in mazes if there aren't any clues or story bits or other things of interest to discover. It was very hard to get to the mask (I even cheated!)

Successful: The Purell sound effect was appropriately gross and effective ;) And the covid spheres stalking me felt ominous.

General: Doing more with sound might help the player navigate the maze. Not that the mask should make a sound, but maybe the covid spheres, and you could do more to make the maze "embody" the feeling/experience/sense that you're trying to create for the player. Could be through audio, color, text bits, etc.

What I particularly loved about this game was the "Covid Balls" coming at me out of nowhere. That added a nice surprise to the game and it definitely caught me off guard multiple times. I also liked the flashlight effect that you added where light is cast in the direction that the player is looking at. What I would suggest you add would be a lives counter or a way of being able to restart the game once the player dies.

Overall I enjoyed this game a lot because there was no easy route to finding the mask which forced me to look around and explore the map more. I also thought it was funny how you named your projectile shooter "Purell" and how you related it to the overall theme of the game.

This was a fun experience, and a nice spin on current events. I liked the maze chase aspect, kinda like Pac-Man or something. One thing I would definitely say could use some tuning up or improvement is the hitboxes and colliders, specifically on the walls. It was a little hard to maneuver around bends, and sometimes I'd clip through a little bit. Otherwise, a fun concept! The maze part was my favorite.

I thought this game was really clever given the prompt. I also made a maze for my game but you had a much different take on the concept. I loved the idea of being chased. It was very memorable.  I think the movement can definitely be tweaked. I had some trouble turning corners. I love the colors you used in your game. I also love the way the maze looks. The way you're constantly running from the virus is successful as a motif. I don't know if motif is the right word. I like how you had purell in the game too. The whole thing was very topical. I would just say tune up the movement a little more so it feels better to interact with.

One thing that I noticed that stood out to me was how the Covid balls would follow you through the maze and that you had to "spray" them with Purell. In terms of improvements, the box colliders on the maze walls could be larger in order to prevent the player from clipping into them. Maybe the sensitivity on the mouse and controls could be turned down since it was tough to move around the corners. When you reach the door at the end of the game, maybe an invisible collision could happen that ends the game. One successful thing about the game is how it depicts the concept of avoiding the virus and protecting yourself from it. Overall, I enjoyed my time with this game, but with some improvement, it can be even greater.
