Wonderful game! Very fun to play and improve at. The artstyle and setting is great and I love the music and sound effects! The gameplay is unique, well thought out, and addicting. I took a bit to understand how to defeat the enemies, but the first level is great to help figure it out, even though most people will probably die like 5 times as I did.

The one thing that was frustrating in the later levels was that I found myself losing track of where my mouse was, so often when I was moving around a bunch I would end up attacking on the wrong side of me. What's intuitive to me is simply attacking the direction I am inputting, but I understand why this control scheme probably works better for most people.

Blitz bounce! If there's one word I had to describe this game it would definitely be "satisfying," especially given the visual and audio effects put into the ball serves/returns. I do like how this is structured as a puzzle game, though admittingly my monkey brain sits there for longer than most trying to find the most efficient solution my first time through. I have no major complaints of this game, and the artsyle does fit the futuristic aesthetic you went for!

The hitbox on some returns definitely felt a bit strange at times, I found myself trying to time my returns in ways that were probably not possible; after getting used to it, I found my stride alright! It might've been a bit misleading to start the animation with an overhead swing (given, I don't think you can hit balls back coming from overhead), but some kind of HUD element may have been beneficial.

Otherwise, nicely done!

Core mechanic is a lot of fun - great feel on freezing time and aiming your shots. External assets were chosen well and add a lot to the atmosphere (I noticed the waffles reference in the background, lol)

Very cool and unique volleyball mechanic that is simple but is developed well!

On a separate note, I need this in multiplayer. This would be too much fun

Can't wait for the multiplayer update in patch 1.1

5s all around here, everything was awesome. Sometimes the timing felt off like there wasn't enough of a grace period for catching the ball. Also trying to quickly look left to catch the ball fails because it is based on where the mouse is not where the player is facing, which was annoying at times but manageable.
