After using the save, if you move to certain tiles, the character will still be talking about the save file. A large portion of the game is wandering this dark maze with limited visibility. Not exactly a 'fun' gameplay, especially with the low amount of recovery capabilities.

A basic story about game devs isn't uncommon. SMB references are fairly common as well. This game seems to focus on being common as it is filled with a lot of SMB references both with graphics and sounds. The graphics are a very retro style and the sounds are simple, but overall it works well.

Unfortunately, due to the concept and gameplay elements all being rather standard, it doesn't stand out particularly. While the game primarily focuses on SMB references, there are small other references such as LoTR and possibly even One Punch Man.

Probably the most "complete" feeling entry I played, but goodness, those fights were hard! I feel like both the parents fight and the 3x Mushroom fight could lead to death if you got unlucky and missed once.

Thanks for playing my game!

It took a lot of time to create original assets and I had very little time to work on game itself. So maybe game's balance needs more work.
