Fun little game. :) I liked that there were sound effects when you got hit, and I tried to get a high score as possible. Well done. :)
Thank you!
Nice to recognise the valuable contribution Polish pilots made to the Battle Of Britain - they were one of the most effective squadrons in the RAF.
The game looks nice but it suffers greatly from not being able to fire from the em ... spitfire LOL.
Support for left handers would also be nice (WASD is a major pain for us).
Never in the history of jamming have so many jammers owed so much to ....
Yeah, I was going to add a write up discussing the polish contribution more, and add a shooting mechanic, but sadly time and real life responsibilities got in the way. I will keep left-handed support in mind, thank you for letting me know as it never really occurred to me, but I can see how annoying it is. Thanks for giving the game a go!
Sorry for the inconvenience of my rating turns out I was resting wrong good job on the game tho sorry bout that
I mean I’ve only been making games for two weeks, can’t make any assets myself. I also spent most of the past two days on it as I can’t code very well, but I needed to be quick as I have other responsibilities. Considering this I’m quite happy with it, as we all have to start somewhere and I’ve made significant progress in my own abilities with this game.
oh I think I replied to him thinking he was talking to me but he was talking to you - either way that guys is kind of a lame duck. He's not really contributing much to the conversation - he probably gets off on abusing people try to ignore him. I will try to play your game when I get some time tonight!
Thank you! I know it’s not much, and any feedback would be appreciated! I appreciate any criticisms!
I think a short intro would set the mood, maybe it could be easy to do? Comic book style would be easiest
Yeah I did think about that, but was worried it would get in the way at the start. I agree it would be a good thing tho, thank you for the advice!
What are you saying "taking everyones assets?"
Let me see you do the same thing.
I am not going to create a new tileset for an hourlong gamejam. I used videos I found on youtube which related to the materials and fall within fair use under educational use. They are clearly sourced and I even commented on the guys video to let him know I was making a game with his video.
I am looking forward to reviewing your submission.
I do not see how this would break any rules, we are free to use free assets - I don't see how that should be frowned upon at all. I do not make assets either, but I usually work with people who do - in any case: for me and NinjaBurger the process is the same. We get assets from somewhere or someone and put it together. I don't think anyone did anything wrong here. Very good job Ninja, making games for such a short time as a couple of weeks is only to be admired and I hope you'll be making many more! :) I have not been able to test this game yet, because I'm one of those freaks who primary use Mac, but I will set the high-score of high-scores later and get back to you! :D
Wow, chill?
Yes?
Thank you for your kind words and support! I hope this will be the first game in a longer line of projects.
