The visuals are very nice, and i liked the minimalist sounds and ambience, the text writing mechanic was very interesting and definitely harder with the Soviets haha.
I only felt that the gameplay is a little bit confusing, since there are so many variables that are changing quickly, and sometimes i wasn't sure what was the correct approach to winning, altought this also has to do with me being kinda bad with strategy games.
But overall, pretty cool game, just a little bit confusing at times. Congrats!

Thank you for the feedback!  Unfortunately I didn't have too much time to work in a proper tutorial to rectify the confusion with the different stats.  I completely understand getting a little lost by all of the different aspects.  In the future, I hope to better translate important information to the player.  Thanks again!

This game was really fun to play. It definitely felt harder playing as the USSR, despite the gameplay being very similar between sides, which was good. I definitely did not have a very good grasp of how all the points worked, but I like how it uses the different types of points, it reminds me of a board game. It was an enjoyable experience trying to play as fast as possible. The only weird thing I noticed was that when I played as the USSR, I won on easy in only a few launches because the US ran out of pride. I am unsure if this was a bug or not, but it ended the game fairly early so it seemed a bit odd.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!  Yeah, the AI is actually playing the same game as the player so I had to put in a few little bumps to prevent the AI from losing too much pride.  It is still technically possible for them to lose in that manner though, just very unlikely.  I'm glad the difficulty difference between the USSR & USA was noticeable though.

This game was pretty fun and a had a lot of interesting mechanics I haven't seen before. I liked the having to type in actions to perform them, and I though the idea of having to do a task yourself if you did have any workman tokens was interesting. My one issue is I couldn't figure out how you get more workman tokens? But other than that this game was great. Very polished feeling and a very interesting concept. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!  There is a button located below the box containing the tokens that shows the price of the next token.  Clicking this button will purchase a new token if you have the funding points available.  I believe there may be an issue with the hover color for the button which may not give the impression of a button!  Either way, thanks for playing my game.

I am having just a gray screen

Developer

I am sorry to hear that!  I'm not sure what could be causing it.  I've built out of Unity's 2019.4.15 URP if that helps.  I haven't heard of anyone having issues like this before.

I was so frustrated at start trying to understand the game

but when I finally did I really loved your game concept and the gameplay

my only complaint is the same thing you told me in the video hhh , a lot of texts to explain the game didn't encourage me a lot

Great game man

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, sometimes it's just really hard to squeeze the information in under the timeline and in a way that isn't discouraging to the player!

I loved the aesthetics of this game! I wasn't understanding the mechanics very well but I'm not much of a strategy game player.  I think a tutorial would be helpful though I  understand time is limited with the game jam. The minigames were interesting though, I'd like to see what else you could do with that.

Thank you for the feedback!  I really wanted to put a tutorial together but time flies.  If I come back to this concept, I think adding different minigames and adding things like perks and a tutorial are on my to-do list.

this was awesome! The UI was a little confusing to understand at first, but once I read the rules and started playing it, it was really fun! Adding the different difficulties adds replay value as well! This would make a cool mobile game in the future!

I'd appreciate it if you could play & rate my game as well! :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  Yeah, I've been considering some of the mechanics used in this game and how I could play around with them more in the future.  I'll definitely check your game out as soon as possible!

Love this game.  The mixture of the typing mechanics and the mouse clicks is great.  Only complain is that Esc closes the game, but this isn't known until you press it, expecting to pause the game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback!  I'm glad you enjoyed that system, it was designed with the hopes that it would increase the stress on the player (trying to match that Cold-War tension).  I definitely will update the game to include a pause screen instead of just escape to close!
