I saw the comment asking people to stop bugging you about using the wrong theme, so I won't do that. The game was pretty fun, and I liked the idea. It's a bit hard to play because of how fast the ships rotate, but maybe i'm just bad at the game (: other than that, nice job.

Wow I am working right now on a sea ships battle game that looks like yours , so i have so many things to share with you

First ships cant move backwards, and the cannons are shot sideways not from front

the physics is so poor and not related to ships or sea physics ( you don't need to be 100% accurate but you have to make the player feels like he is in the open sea )

I wish my feedback have a positive effect on your game development

good luck

I love ship battles ! However I feel like this entry was not related to the jam's theme ?

The controls need a lot of refining because it might get frustrating after a few tries. But overall great concept and I'm sure if you rebalance the control parameters it'll be a lot more fun ! Great job nonetheless <3

Yes I accidently deleted the project in the game enginge but I did start working on a sequel and I have implomented a better and slower movement system. It turns out that I did join the wrong gamejam without knowing.  Also thank you for your feedback, and we can both agree ship battles are awesome.

Not the theme but, if the admins accepted it, Im none-one to argue!

It gets really complicated really quick,  but the fact that you can re-start straight away help it to don't be frustrating.

The boats looks good, but maybe the water would have get some benefits from giving it a bit of texture.

Also I loosed my boat a couple of times on the edges (and it never came back!).

Still really nice for a week one man job. Congrats!

Not related to the Cold War but the concept of the gameplay loop itself was fine. You could have changed your graphical theme to better fit the concept of the jam. Also tank controls combined with very fast movement makes the game hard to control. Consider slowing down the turning and movement speed but giving the ships some inertia so they drift after movement.

I did mean to try this but my scratch disk is almost full so I deleted the project in the engine although I am working on a sequel using a different Pc thank you for your suggestion and I will imploment this into the sequel. thank you for your suggestion.
