Haha this was funny and a good idea (indeed very similar to our idea, as you said already). I liked the pixel art animations and spiking those birds even tho that part suprised me a little tbh :D

it's too easy to fly almost endlessly. and then just as long to fall down. And for me, the gameplay is too monotonous.

I LOVED the plot twist with the birds! The animation with the fuse being lit was nice. A few bugs I found were that the gunpowder bar was in the middle of my screen when I full-screened it and once the stick falls all the way down if you hold left it starts rising back up. A score screen at the end that takes you back to the start of the game would also be a nice QOL addition. Overall, a really fun and shocking game that's even educational about firework safety! :)

I really like the "high resolution" pixel art style and the gameplay is overall fun. I think that the only thing is missing, is some in-game instructions. Great use of the theme.

the fact that my jaw dropped is very telling, this was unexpected XD  cool game but I still don't understand what the back balls were supposed to do, a explanation in the game would be helpful :)

I onestly have to say: i didnt expect that: great use of theme AND new year, and it looks decent, but your sound  doesnt fit to the artstyle.

with fitting sounds and a restart option, this would be a banger :)
