You did a pretty good job; the game certainly has potential, but enemies should spawn a distance from the player instead of just anywhere cause sometimes they spawned directly on top of me.

This game is about an alternate reality where robots are taking over the world, you fight them off and try to kill as many of them as you can.

Crazy little shooter game π!
GAMEPLAY
Nice shooter game. Well worked out in all aspects. I used the trick to first wait until special ability is full to have a slight advantage before going in the room. It was a hard game. Died often. Enemies can spawn nearby and the little suckers are hard to hit π. But I have fun trying to hold out as long as possible moving over the field and shooting with LMB pressed all the time π.
GRAPHICS/ART
Good pixel art. All worked well together. Nice effects for shooting and killing enemies. Camera shake helps to get some action feeling. Maybe some weapon upgrades with special effects and extra particle effects would be nice in an update. Or even more enemy types.
AUDIO
Good audio track and SFX. Complete package combined with the gameplay and visuals.
THEME
Alternate reality with robots taking over is a checkmark. And time is power is probably waiting for the special action. Slight touch of that theme but is ok.
Overall a fun game to have a blastπͺ
Fun game, looks polished with al lthe particles/effects.
I feel like having some upgrades after waves or leveling up could add a lot to the game, as it gets challenging quite quickly in its current state.

This was a fun game! It made me laugh and the art was fun. One suggestion would be to give a visual feed back / camera shake / or noise when taking damage. The game play is intense enough where I didn't even notice my health bar until it was down to 50%. Then I purposely touched an enemy and couldn't tell I was damaged other than the health bar. My other suggestion would be to make sure the enemies aren't spawning so close. They would just appear out of nowhere. I think the room is large enough where the enemies could always spawn off camera. Or if you put in a spawn effect like they were being summoned or something that would be better than just appearing. That said, well done! Brought me back to Robotron.
There are swarms of enemies, and the basic attack won't cover you alone. The space ability is a great concept, but also the game's core fault.
A great addition would be to make the space ability available to use anytime, but the more time you wait to use it, the more powerful the effect. waiting until it fills all the way could give you a special effect, like increased default weapon damage, speed boost, etc.
I also like how you added the section before the room with robots so that you could let the gauge fill up before starting the game, it rewards patience, neat touch
Space bar abiltiy feels slightly delayed. and enemies can spawn on top you trough which you lose health, Overall Nice feel, Good job
