Nice game. I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Hey!  This is pretty good!  Could use some tweaking on the difficulty.  Maybe figure out a way to start off a little easier and get harder.  Do something with waves perhaps?

Developer

Thanks.

Agreed on the difficulty. I had a few ideas for making it scale better, be more interesting, but didn't have the time to try them out.

Simple concept with a ton of comets of various sizes. Being careful since the comets split and get redirected when shot.
I found it easier to ignore most of the building and focus on keeping only one from being destroyed.
The sound effects were also fun, hearing the temperature going up or down but it might get annoying after a while. Maybe add an option to change the volume or mute sound altogether.

Thanks for the feedback.

I was concerned about the sounds getting annoying as well, but I was running out of time and implemented them last.  I figured for a few short play-throughs it would be ok.  Volume control would definitely be a polishing step I would have liked to get to.  The difficulty could also use some polish.  It's too hard to keep a lot of buildings alive, it's too easy to keep one alive.
