In all seriousness, power of friendship!! JD did an enormous amount of coding in such a short time. Truly magic!
The sound of the bug hopping triggered my dog :). He kept looking for the toy. I actually had to mute it so I could play though as it got jarring. Maybe you could add a pitch shift to vary it (and provide volume controls in game)

I agree with the comments it would have been nice to full screen. I zoomed in on the browser so it wasn’t as annoying.

Volume controls were the last thing added before the deadline so definitely working on some tweaks!
Omg it's like a 2D version of our game, I love this. The softbody physics on the egg were really satisfying. I love all the dialogue with the bugs around town. Nice work!!

This game looks really fun, unfortunately it's kind of hard to play as it is stuck at a tiny screen resolution for me.
Maybe add a fullscreen button in the itch page settings. Let me know if you update it and I'll try it out.
