Nice work, and polish for jam!  Like others, I appreciated the difficulty and audio settings.  While having the shadows looked cool, it also frequently made for a lot of flashing, I think having more pending level exist might have eased in the light better.  I made it pretty close to the top (on easy) and liked the difficulty ramp (something my game lacks).

Similar to others would have liked to see the theme explored more. I liked the polish in the game over all with a tutorial, and difficulty settings. Granted easy wasn't that easy, so could also use some more balancing. Would be interesting to allow the player to control their jump height more.

Great music and a fun little challenging game, though sometimes a bit frustrating. I did not make it to the end, even on easy mode.

The first time my character missed a platform and fell, I found it weird that all the platforms below the current height of the screen unloaded, but still made the PC fall through that space. The pickup that launched the PC up was great until there wasn't a platform to land on, too. I also would have liked to have seen the theme play a role in the game mechanics.

Good work to the team on your first submission! I hope we get to see more in the future.

Fun challenging game! Loved the style. Sadly I couldn't pass lasers but it was really fun trying plus music was great. Good work!

Got to 255. The thing that mostly annoyed me I think was the laser, which felt almost impossible to dodge sometimes considering you can't control the height of your jump. One of my deaths was right after a special jump as well, in which case I had no way of even knowing there was gonna be a laser right where I'd land. With that out of the way, the controls did have a cool feel. I think it's a pretty fun game and the idea could get mined further.

Very cool game, i liked the gameplay and had fun dodging the ducks and trying to escape the darkness. My only critique is that i think the theme could've been explored a little more.

Music was a little loud for me, thanks for the sound settings! This was a nice take on a classic style of game. I really liked the map on the side of the screen. I did not get very far up, but it is nice to know there is more to explore next time i play.
