Game Description
A small warrior is in search of a mystical axe in a dark dungeon.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The game is told in the form of a story. There is a narrator that hints what is the next step in the story and then the player plays as the warrior.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your feedback. It was my first game jam and I really appreciate it. Next time I'll make sure the PCK file is included for Mac download 😅, sorry about that.
I really appreciate the readable font so I could enjoy the narration. Bummed there was no treasure and I didn't get to enjoy my mystical ax. I think doing the swing from any angle would have been nice, attack up/down wasn't very impactful. Excellent art, I dunno why exactly the floor tile variation in particular made me happy.
I had to download the Mac version and dig through it, the PCK file wasn't included in my download. As a full-screened game it needs a quit option, not everyone who plays games is going to know how to kill a process from memorized keybinds. I will say that this made me cry a little when there wasn't actually treasure in this chest ;'( (not sure if the embedded screenshot is actually showing up in comments, I only see it in edit mode!)
It'd be nice if the dialog had a 'skip to end' before just hitting next that would print out the remaining characters without actually skipping the whole dialog. Clearly, a lot of time spent on level design and narration, I'm curious to see where you will go with this!
(FWIW the bug that @ludodevelop reported occurred for me when testing it on a windows box, albiet while using the relatively small Mac PCK file)
Thank you for the feedback!
Very nice. However, when the character takes damage on OSX a white square appears.
Nothing serious ;)
I liked the pixel art and how the ghostly guy tells the story as the level progressed.
Only if there was some sfx...! lol
You missed the .pck file.
It's possible to extract the pck file from the macOS version
The windows .exe file is not running, it throws an error.
