I only had a quick look at this, so can't comment on the whole game, but I liked what I saw! The typing effect adds a nice bit of flair.
End?
Love this!
Thank you for letting me use ls and cd, but I'm mad you wouldn't let me rm -rf stuff.
In all seriousness, this is one of the freshest, most unique games of this jam. It feels like one of those over the top indie horror games inspired by PT, but in an old school text adventure style (with a little comedic flair too!). While the graphics are simple, they are effective and honestly impressive. I will be looking over your code to see how you pulled this off as I am beyond curious.
Hats off to you, super impressive.
Really happy to see someone finding the easter eggs I built in. Feel free to look over the code, but it is an absolut mess. I didn't want to rewrite some parts because I might break something. (I was thinking about something that could be used with rm -rf but didn't find any use cases)
This is really cool, I love seeing less popular genres explored. The presentation is great, the clicky clack noise of the text scroll and the jumble of text at the start is wonderful. The story is also fun, I like the reveal of the structure of the train.
Never knew I liked text-based adventures really. You proved me otherwise! I loved this little story and honestly I wish for more.
Good Job! :)
Cool text based game. I'm not usually a fan of these but it pulled me in! I think I ended it prematurely though! I need to get back and try to find an alternate ending. Good job.
