Slowing down as you run out of coins is a pretty interesting mechanic! I think I would have liked having a minimum speed, since it was pretty easy to get stuck - I ended up falling down a hole and couldn’t get out or collect any coins because my speed got too low. The super-fast jump also felt a little odd when paired with low speed from lack of coins.

The first time I almost made it home, the block ran out of speed right before I got there, haha - but once I knew where it was, it was easy to get there again. For replayability you could try having the house spawn in random locations to find every time, maybe?

I loved the juicy animations on the box - for just being a red square he really felt alive!

Fun little game, nice work!

A well put together game about a box and their epic journey home.

Well done!

That was a nice and simple platformer, I like the implementation of the “under pressure” wildcard. The energetic music together with equally energetic movement (while the speed meter is filled) made me want to keep going to find red’s home, which I did. A square is a simple shape, but I like how you made it look more interesting by adding little squash and stretch animations for it.

I loved the idea of him slowing down if you didn't progress fast enough, I also liked the multiple paths to get to the destination, some leading you down a longer path that could cause you to fail. Graphics were nice, platforming felt decent, only some minor collision issues. Overall nicely done, I got him home!

Cool use of the wildcard. The game is very fun and the juice on the player box is really good. Also the music choice was good (maybe not fitting the theme much, but it was still good) and kept me wanting to play more just to hear it more lol. The only problem with the gameplay was that the 1 tile wide gaps are a bit hard to get through.

That is a juicy red square! Nice presentation overall. Some of the jumps were a little hard to maneuver, but I think there's an interesting potential puzzle/speedrun-ish element to figuring out the right path and executing it while your speed it dropping.

Interesting idea! I think the idea of speed as a resource that you have to keep up is very interesting. I think the player controller could use with some tuning to make it feel less stiff. The level design could use some work (sometimes less is more!)

Neat little mechanic! Really fit the Under Pressure wildcard very well! Good job!

What a nice little game! It feels very complete and polished for being made in a week. I appreciate the juicy character movement, and picking up coins felt pretty good too.

The jump felt a little bit aggressive, which make it pretty hard to maneuver in some places. A total coin count would have also been kind of nice just to give some purpose to collecting more than absolutely necessary.

I had fun, so it gets good marks from me!
