Love the art and transition.
Cool that you have a difficulty option, really helpful :)
If you could add some music that would be great!
Enjoyed the game though.
Well done!
Great job! Definitely pretty unforgiving with the time limit on Warm (or maybe I'm just bad). Using one color for all the art and changing it as the heat rises is a really clever way of using the 4 color palette. It really makes the whole level feel like it's heating up too.
I will say I wish it was a little easier to tell what tiles were walls and what weren't (specifically in the sections that are kind of maze-y with a lot of 1-tile wide paths all right next to each-other, it gets kind of unclear what path leads where). Having some kind of pattern on the inside or edges of wall tiles I think would have really helped with this, even if it was simple.
A neat platformer game with simplistic graphics. I enjoyed it a bit, especially the way it brings players to other floors. Difficulty setting was a neat touch too
Nice game! Giving players the ability to choose the difficulty level is quite important in games of that type. I enjoyed finding all the cogs, thank you for your work!
muy bonito el juego, me gusto la mecánica y como estaba distribuido el mapa
pero la muerte es muy escandalosa UnU me dio susto la primera vez que mori, me dolieron las orejas jeje
I had a lot of fun exploring this little 1 bit world. The platforming was nice although I feel like it would be better if there were more consequences to getting hit. Often, I would find it better to just tank through spikes in order to get the cog faster instead of taking my time since the clock was ticking down. Maybe a health bar would improve the gameplay.
I liked the very minimalist 1 bit style alongside the color shift when the time was ticking down. Had a hard time getting to a few of the cogs - some of the pathing requires you to backtrack more if you make a mistake. Fun platform challenges utilizing the gravity/wind shafts. An aesthetic like this is dying for some retro beep boop synth music, could really up the atmosphere with a simple chiptune loop or somethin.
