This really could have prices and cooldowns listed; it was hard to plan around the currency mechanic without them. Also, I am not sure if I won or not? That seems like it shouldn't be ambiguous with the one big piece at the end. An interesting concept though.

Congrats on your first game, it's no small feat! The mechanics of the game were quite fun, they could definitely be developed further. Adding some prices next to the pieces would help, was a bit confused at first since I thought they were free haha

Congratz on your first game, It was fun and I liked the chess/tower defence angle. Sadly my knights are betrayers and they are attacking my pawn instead of the enemy :D
(giving nodes "groups" can help you prevent problems like that "white pieces", "black pieces" etc.)
