Interesting mechanics for platformer also. It will be a really good game, but in the current stage, it is so confused and buggy. My game does not respond when I try to turn on the fire. Also share windows and Linux build with .pck together, without it doesn't work

Please continue it, I love this type of games

Thanks for the nice feedback!

 I'll improve the game.

(fire - need to press "1" many times :)

I think I beat the game, though not 100%! I did get confused along the way. Interesting setting that reminds me of the game Talos Principle.

I think having some menus for controls would help a lot. I eventually figured out from button mashing that the four squares are elements you can use with the number keys 1-4, once you've obtained them from those glowing spheres. The diagram with checkboxes and switches didn't make sense to me, but I must have done something right because I still got the door open.

I see potential, especially since I like these types of puzzle exploration games, but most people will probably find this too difficult without tutorials.

Edit: wow, 1 second before the deadline?

Thank you for your kind words about this game!

I will continue working on it: make more levels and improve quality.

About the 1 second - it was the most exiting submission. 5 min before the end of submission I'd started to make final improvement (added some sounds). 10 seconds before the finish line I'd opened the submission page - but the game was not in list. During 1 sec I'd been hard thinking, then I had reloaded the submission page - the game had appeared and I'd pressed Submit! ... The timer had started to show -1, -2, -3. I did not believe I've managed it, but after checking was pleasantly surprised. :).

Wow, cutting it close! Glad you got it submitted

For this to work you need to download both the .exe (for Windows) or the .x86_64 (for Linux), and the .pck file (listed as the linux download), put them in the same folder and run it. I.e. both the 35MB file and the 209MB file.

I think you might have been a bit too ambitious here. There's a lot of ideas at play and a lot of complex mechanics/systems attempted, but none of them really works in isolation and don't make sense together either. There's a lot of technical skill here, you've been very productive! I just think you should limit the scope a lot, find one or two core mechanics and focus on them! This game didn't know if it wanted to be an fantasy brawler, a shooter, a platformer or a puzzle game, so it tried to be all at once, and that's impossible to pull off for a small/solo team even if you had months to develop it.

The windows version doesn't seem to work, was it exported correctly? Seems much smaller than the Linux version.

Developer

I opened another windows file that should work
