How does your submission match the theme?
Moving around has the double purpose of cooling down the Laser Bazooka as well. Sprinting also changes the mode of the gun. Reloading also regenerates health

I think there's a lot of things to improve on. The collisions for the player character were very bouncy and I felt like I was playing in 0 gravity. The enemies also didn't seem like they were too difficult since for the most part they just charged at you. By their design I thought they would start shooting at me immediately. I think if you are going to have terrain digging you should make sure that each block is the exact size of the character. I can see myself trying to escape but I have to dig two rows instead of one.
It would be beneficial if you had some music, and displayed a control summary on the start screen of the game.
Otherwise I think it's pretty solid and needs a few gameplay tweaks. Good job!
Controls felt too slippery and not as responsive as they should be. Destruction of terrain was kinda cool but I didn't feel that it had much of a purpose other lasering a few blocks to get further. The laser cooldown felt a bit awkward. Assigning the bazooka change key and sprint key felt like a lazy attempt to fit the theme. The game could've benefited from some music and sound effects. Also a better atmosphere would to wonders for the game as it felt bland. If the game felt more fast paced with more fluid controls. Aside from the downsides I think its good for the time you had to make it.
I rate 2/5. Has potential.
Not sure if I'm supposed to be reviewing things with extreme honesty but that's how I roll. Thank you for participating in the jam.
