CriteriaRankScore*Raw Score

Ranked from 4 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your submission match the theme?
Slime's War match the theme because almost everything in the game has multiple purposes :

Timer = Kill the player at 00:00 and give score at the end.
Shoot = Fire an instant invisible beam in the direction of the cursor and reload weapon (0.4s).
Hit blue round = Remove 1s to the timer, tp the player to the cursor position and instant reload.
Hit enemy = Kill it, add 1s to the timer, tp the player to the cursor position and instant reload.
Coins = Add a challenge for those who wants and it give score at the end.
Powerups = Help you in the current run and add 5s to the timer.

I had alot of fun! There was a bit too much constant peril from falling but beyond that was a interesting experience and a fun game. The controls were pretty neat once I got the heand of it but still the game felt just a bit too many nails tough. Good job!

Glad you liked it ! As I said in the comment below I've planned to do an "easy-mode" to fix that difficulty problem :) By the way you have powerups across the map and one of them stop the gravity for 2s, but they're kinda hard to reach. It will be fixed in a future update ! Thanks for the feedback :D

Pretty difficult to move around, avoid ennemies, kill them, and never fall on the floor at the same time. I couldn't go past the first bunch of lasers. I much sure to understand well how the teleport works.

The concept is good though. And the dash movement felt really satisfying when I managed to perform some combos. I wish there wasn't so many instant death so that I could mess around a bit with the weapon! I'm sure with enough practice, the game allows some cool movements!

Hey Itooh thanks for the feedback! I've planned to do an "easy-mode" in a post-jam update where you will have more than one life for a better difficulty curve. I've reached the end (~300m) after something like 3 hours of training so yes, it need a lot of time!
