Interesting concept for a strategy game. I like the combat system as well, as it uses the action timer instead of the traditional turn based system. I feel like there may be too many soldiers in a level though, which results in a lot of time managing them all.
Would love if you can check out my game too. Thanks!
I agree that levels take quite a while with the current amount of soldiers. If there are future updates, the amount of enemies, their composition, and possibly the player unit cap would be changed drastically.
I want to admit that UI is simple but clean ! it is easy to understand what is going on and why do I need those buttons!
Sound design is great as well!
Great job!
Thanks for the review!
The best tactic is to run away from the battlefield when you are attacked and collect all the units to attack with an advantage. During the opponent's turn, the camera moves for a long time and randomly, which is boring, because most of the soldiers do nothing or sometimes yawn.
During the selection of the army there is a bug, when you click on an already selected fighter, he is imperceptibly cloned. Thus, the player can control an army of clones.
Oh wow. Didn't know about the clones, good catch. I agree about the opponents turn being too long and this is something we were aware of before release. If we had more time it would have been made much shorter or more interesting. Thanks for playing!
Nice interpretation of the theme! Unfortunately the game froze for me after I pressed end turn in the first battle, but I liked the way the stats were displayed and the graphics for the soldiers.
Thanks and sorry to hear that you had a crash. I do know of a bug with the battle system that could cause a problem like that but we ran out of time to fix the issue.
Very interesting game concept. Good graphics and sound. Nice job
Thanks. We tried to do a twist on the traditional combat of turn-based strategy games. Hopefully that comes across.
