Weird game, but it was fun once I got a hang of it. The "Bombs" seemed incredibly good, as you can just spam them and walk back-and-forth to basically destroy all of the enemy dice. I definitely wish I could have seen what this game would have been if you had had more time!
Balance was definitely lost in the rush to have something complete, haha.
You were missing some needed user feedback. It was unclear if I was close enough to pick up an item, a small 'F' displayed above the item would have been nice. I was unable to tell when I successfully hit an enemy until they disappeared. Some feedback such as a flash of white material for .25s or some knockback/slow would have helped. I like the idea and just needed some more time to polish what you had.
Absolutely, user feedback would make it feel way better, the enemies are supposed to flash red on taking damage, however something wrong with the materials causes that to not show up (and we didn't get around to fixing it)
Seems like some weapons do not work properly and I did not manage to get the big hammer :'( but it was quite fun!
I know! The hammer broke at the last moment when we were building and didn't catch it before we had to submit 😭, was one of my favourites, the great bonking d12.
A fun game. I particularily enjoyed exploring this little world. The music went wild sometimes but I assume thats by design. I couldn't really figure out what to do besides exploring and dodging dices, but that might just be because of the parody setting.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, the music was meant to be a bit wild (possibly ended up more than it needed to be though). There's no real game loop to be honest, mostly due to running out of time, but that's basically it; dodge dice, pick up weapons, destroy dice, have fun?
