The pixel art looks incredible!  Very impressive visuals and story for only 48 hours! The battle system was a little confusing since the enemies don't have health bars visible, but overall really great work!

Developer

We're definitely thinking of improving the UI of the battle scene (such as hovering over the enemies to get information about their health and behaviour). So, thank you so much for your input!

I love the artstyle and the music, it feels really satisfying. Too much text tho, it feels like you are trying to teach a player everything about the game at the very beginning, this can be very overwhelming. The storytelling feels good, the sound of the "bad man" speaking is breaking my ears tho... When the chess part started i couldn't understand how to plan the tactics cus there are no health meters on enemies so they just encercled me and i died... I love the presentation and the lore here, overall, good job!

Hey, Thank you for the feedback. We couldn't fit the ideas we came up with to the 48 hours. So, the game ended up being buggy and incomplete. We will still keep developing this game. We're especially thinking of improving the chess part.

Damlamen, Thanks for letting me play your game! The art and overall aesthetic was mega pleasing. I absolutely loved the tv screen and fuzzy filter on top of all the art. The music was also fitting. I struggled to understand the gameplay easily which made it hard to enjoy. Great work on this Jam!

Thank you!

Damn thats one pretty son of a gun

Takes too long to get to the menu, and i also dont understand even though you want to die you want to avoid dying in game, perhaps that could be more creatively handled?

Very interesting mechanics, the battle ui looked so different i thought my game crashed, but besides that i really like how it plays out, definitely a unique concept! Great work!

You're definitely right, the thing about dying in fights didn't occur to us as weird until the last day. We tried to come up with the idea of bones, basically your bones break apart, so even if you're alive you can't be whole. About battle UI, it's not intuitive to click the dice as you said. It can be more self-explanatory. We will keep working on this game even if not for the jam. So, thank you so much for your feedback.

Takes way too long to actually get into the game play part of the game. Overall looks great!
