This was interesting! My favourite parts were the sound and the general ambience.

Mechanically, I would more easily enjoy this gameplay if there was a better way to visualise the rotations of the die. The 3D visualisation did not work at all for me, personally. I agree with those below who said that it felt 'backwards', and that I wanted the freedom to try much bigger rotations, so I could plan several moves ahead.

I think I would also love to see the dice animate through its moves, too - this would make the spatial reasoning a lot more enjoyable for me, personally.

Thanks for letting me try this out!

A very nice puzzle game! Very simple but clean mechanics, and the ability to view the different sides of the die is a nice touch. The only thing is, I feel like inverted controls were a bit unintuitive, and the rotation didn't allow me to rotate the entire dice. Other than that, it was a very fun play! Nice job!

A nice, simple puzzle game with an atmosphere to match. One thing I would change is to make the rotation when you hover match the movement of the mouse instead of being inverted to make it feel less weird.

Appreciate it! You raise an interesting point because I definitely prefer this version of 3D mouse control, but I guess this is why they often have inverted control options in menus. It's up to preference. My logic is that I hover on the part that I want to look at, which rotates the cube the opposite direction, but logically it also makes sense to hover in the direction that you want the cube to rotate.

Though it kills my brain, the part connect rolling dice and puzzle solving is very interesting. I like it very much!

Developer

Glad you like it! I admit it hurt my head a bit too without the solutions :)

I am not too big a fan of these kind of dice puzzle games, but the presentation is really nice here, as well as the 3D die as a guidance.

Thanks! Yeah, I understand, it's a very specific kind of spatial visualization type of puzzle game, so naturally not everyone would enjoy it. The 3D dice were actually an attempt to make the main visualization dynamic less demanding but I'm not sure it fully achieves that.

Familliar concept but without the 3D adds a good challenge to it, people who enjoy this kind of game will enjoy this version of it. Good job.

Nice game. I already saw this concept multiple times (in other jams too). A 3D scene would help to preview on which side we are rolling too. Overall good job.

Thanks! Yeah, it was honestly funny to see how many people had similar ideas about matching die numbers, but oh well. The 2D approach was a technical choice and I see how 3d would make the main mechanics easier, but it allowed us to focus on the coffee shop theme and interaction polish a bit more.

Nice little puzzle game. The art style is pleasing to the eye and got me to think about what to do.

Well presented, cool art style, helpful/guiding yet difficult, and interesting concept
