I liked the beats. I would have liked to see the final score on the end screen. I think the combat could have used a bit of balancing. The fact that the bullets pushed you back and forced a re-roll in some cases very a very nice touch, but things like the damage for 1s and 2s felt very under-powered, and I couldn't easily tell if an enemy had already lost health. Despite that, great job on the submission, it is quite solid.

Hi nDev!, I’m flattered that you liked my little project for this game jam and I have to mention that your game looks great too. As for the final score on the game over screen, I didn’t know how to implement it correctly, so I couldn’t include it in the game. And for bullets 1 and 2, I wanted them to feel like “mediocre” or underpowered shots in general, so I made the decision to make them feel somewhat unbalanced. Cheers!

for a game mechanics kinda confusing on what each dice number do but so far from what i play, 6 do spread bullets. the resolution in this game especially the main title screen also blurry which i suggest later for makin a tittle make sure image resolution fit or same with the game. other than that cool game :D

Hello NP! I’m glad you liked my little game for this game jam and I really appreciate your feedback, I just have to mention that on the home and game over screens you can press the shift key (either one) to bring up some sort of small manual with all the mechanics of the game, or, if you prefer to read it online you can visit the screenshots of the game on its itch.io page, where this manual is included. As for the screens being blurry, I made them with Paint 3D (it’s a bit embarrassing to mention it…) and it won’t let me increase the resolution to more than 600px height, so I had to stretch them in Unity itself, and it got that blurry look because I didn’t know it could look better by changing the format from Bilinear to Point. Cheers!

Top down shooters are always fun, I was confused at first with a few things, like why I couldn't shoot sometimes when I clicked (because I was rolling) or why there were sometimes bullets in all directions (because I rolled a 6). I still don't completely understand what each number does, and I was confused when the piano chord played and I couldn't shoot, but it's enjoyable trying to dodge the enemy bullets for a while.

I’m glad you liked my little project and I greatly appreciate your criticism, just to mention that in the title screen or in game over you can press the shift key to open a kind of manual with all the mechanics of the game, or you can check the screenshots of the game on its itch.io page, where this manual is also included. Maybe that way you can understand the mechanics of the game a little better and get rid of doubts, although personally I prefer to try over and over again until I understand them. Cheers!
