This was pretty fun! I enjoyed just the gameplay of jumping and strategically using my jumps in order to make it through the vents.

Some minor improvements: I would say the mechanic of having the dice dictate the number of jumps allowed hindered gameplay more than enhanced it. It just became a bit luck based whether I would roll a six or a three in order to complete the level. As far as the overall theme of the game it didn't make too much sense why the dice was related to the card's movement either. Also, on my Mac the dice was cut off halfway on the screen as well.

I enjoyed the music and the choppy greasy graphics had a nice aesthetic to it. That one slide down was super difficult though, but I did eventually get it! Nice game!

Hey, it just says : Impossible to launch "Journey Of A Card" (in french)
I'm on MacOs Monterey 12.3.1

Developer

that’s weird is your language set to French? also to fix your problem try :putting the game in a zip by compressing it then put the .zip THE UNARCHIVER on App Store and to do this drag the zip on to the app in your dock then it will pop up and if it asks you a privacy thing or something like that go into settings and approve it. hope it works for you!

This is a french computer yes (this might be the reason hehe jk),
Ok i'll try the operation asap

Developer

ok let me know if it works or if you are still having issues

Submitted

Not really sure how to run the game, I'm on Windows but there is nothing to run when you download the .zip :/

Developer

let me know what issues your having like what it’s saying and I will help you try to open it sorry for the inconvenience

Submitted

I just downloaded the .zip and there is nothing inside of it that I can run to see the game. I think you might be missing a file or something like that.

Developer

Send me a photo or describe what’s happening and maybe I can fix it sorry for the inconvenience

Developer

I’m pretty sure that I’m not missing a file it seems to be working for most people send a photo of what’s happening

This is all the files after opening the unzipped folder:

I check through each of them and I don't see anything that lets me play the game :(

Developer

and when you download it you got the .zip double clicked it and did extract all? I am trying to figure out what happened but let me know if you did that maybe if you did not download it again and extract all

Submitted

Yep, that's all I did and that's all that has shown up in the folder. I did try downloading it again and the same files are there. Sorry about all this!

No you’re fine I’ll keep Researching  this

Developer

ok so I found if you are running antivirus programs the may delete the .exe let me know if you are running these files and I’ll try to find a solution to this

Developer

also running through the app version not the web may help with this issue

Submitted

The zip file does not contain any exe file at all; only the `.app` folder which is macOS specific

Submitted

I don't think this runs on Windows (or in my case Linux using Wine) as-is, even though the icons on the download would suggest otherwise

Developer

let me know what’s happening and maybe I can fix it

Submitted

There is no executable file in the downloadable zip; only a ".app" directory [which is iirc how applications are packaged under macOS] - since this appears to be made in Unity, you'd have to build it separately for the separate platforms; this specific build you've uploaded however will not work under everything but macOS (since there iirc wasn't any wine-ish thing to run macOS stuff on other systems, that statement isn't even about not being able to run it natively)

I loved every second of this game. Very cute concept, my 102 year old Russian Meemaw was a fan too. So great to see her one yellow tooth flash within her gummy grin.

Developer

That’s awesome you got your meemaw to play that glad you enjoyed it

I couldn't open it with macOS.

Developer

hey sorry you couldn’t open it on Mac OS try opening it by putting the zip of it in a app like the UnArchiver on the App Store it’s completely free and it seems to work most of the time

Developer

let me know if it still doesn’t works. Thanks :)
