Neat concept, didnt expect to find a couch co-op game in this jam. Pretty funny too! Though I found out that I know nothing of the world after playing this game, maybe you can add a simple picture for someone like me haha
Anyway, really great job!

This was a fun idea, but the images were way too meme-y for my taste. Also doesn't help if you play with someone who doesn't know any of those memes. Maybe give the players a choice of "picture sets" in the long term?
Another thing that might be worth looking at is some better string matching, like "Donald Trump" should also count as "Trump". Not sure if there's a great way to achieve this in a programmatic fashion without some weird neural network stuff, but maybe just provide a list of acceptable synonyms. Or maybe do it like skribbl.io does and show the players the length of the word.
In the long term, though, this could be a fun game for online game nights. I think this could be expanded to be playable on a server and might be pretty fun that way.
